My last posting started with almost the exact same intro! So sorry about the repeat, but ironically here we are again, 7 months later and this time, it is exactly to the day!

As far I am concerned, the way time is flying is just more good proof that the law of attraction is working and pulling things into place and I believe that everything is on track. That being said, the last 7 months have been anything but all honky-dory and have been filled with trials and tribulations, so just in case "all" of you out there *wink, wink* are wondering what the heck has kept me away this time and why I have left you hanging for so long, here is a quick update: (starting from exactly where we left off, 6 days into my lay-off and days of unemployment...)

  1. I found my "dream job" 6 weeks later...well, let's say "dream employer" since I am speaking as a writer and more about the all the perks of the job than the job itself! By the end of April I officially went from the work work work and no play corporate world that had been slowly and painfully sucking my my positive energy resource dry; and switched over to the live live live functionality of a non-career oriented role! I got back to basics, which has allowed me to protect the artist inside me and give it back some life. I saved the creative juices for personal expression, rather than for this campaign or that project, and eliminated unecessary work stress from my life forever. This had alwasy been was was missing for me to become the writer I know is inside me, to build my writing portfolio rather than my resume.
  2. Things often get worse at times before they get better, so even though this new job was perfectly timed, set, located, etc.; in many other ways it was a very bumpy road to get to the flowery fields. The next few weeks, right into the summer and thru July was a period of learning and adjusting, a difficult cut in income and the anxiety of starting over yet again. By the time I got home everyday, I was spent...
  3. ...So when summer school ended, we finally were able to let some fun in! Together with my wonderful husband and aging parents, we took the road trip of a lifetime thru the province of Quebec, visisting family I had never met and others whom I hadn't seen since I was 7 years old. It was as though the pictures we took had always been there in my dreams and as though every corner was a deja-vu! It was a very satisfying and uplifting trip that I will never, ever forget.
  4. Back from the vacation mode and straight back to work, what little was left of August flew by, as did the entire month of September, with more training and new school year start-up.
  5. October began with a bang and we are still stumbling around from the impact of that blow. My dad had 2 heart attacks and quadruple by pass surgery. This horrible turn of events, even in the darkest of hours, even still has a silver lining. The world of medicine is incredible and proves again that everything happens for a reason. It brought our family together and has given us all another chance.
  6. ...today, we are still working thru his recovery, and I very gratefully still have a few days of holiday time to write and rest and recoperate while I aim to get caught up once and for all.

Peace Love and GratitudeJF
