My last posting started with almost the exact same intro! So sorry about the repeat, but ironically here we are again, 7 months later and this time, it is exactly to the day!
As far I am concerned, the way time is flying is just more good proof that the law of attraction is working and pulling things into place and I believe that everything is on track. That being said, the last 7 months have been anything but all honky-dory and have been filled with trials and tribulations, so just in case "all" of you out there *wink, wink* are wondering what the heck has kept me away this time and why I have left you hanging for so long, here is a quick update: (starting from exactly where we left off, 6 days into my lay-off and days of unemployment...)
- I found my "dream job" 6 weeks later...well, let's say "dream employer" since I am speaking as a writer and more about the all the perks of the job than the job itself! By the end of April I officially went from the work work work and no play corporate world that had been slowly and painfully sucking my my positive energy resource dry; and switched over to the live live live functionality of a non-career oriented role! I got back to basics, which has allowed me to protect the artist inside me and give it back some life. I saved the creative juices for personal expression, rather than for this campaign or that project, and eliminated unecessary work stress from my life forever. This had alwasy been was was missing for me to become the writer I know is inside me, to build my writing portfolio rather than my resume.
- Things often get worse at times before they get better, so even though this new job was perfectly timed, set, located, etc.; in many other ways it was a very bumpy road to get to the flowery fields. The next few weeks, right into the summer and thru July was a period of learning and adjusting, a difficult cut in income and the anxiety of starting over yet again. By the time I got home everyday, I was spent...
- ...So when summer school ended, we finally were able to let some fun in! Together with my wonderful husband and aging parents, we took the road trip of a lifetime thru the province of Quebec, visisting family I had never met and others whom I hadn't seen since I was 7 years old. It was as though the pictures we took had always been there in my dreams and as though every corner was a deja-vu! It was a very satisfying and uplifting trip that I will never, ever forget.
- Back from the vacation mode and straight back to work, what little was left of August flew by, as did the entire month of September, with more training and new school year start-up.
- October began with a bang and we are still stumbling around from the impact of that blow. My dad had 2 heart attacks and quadruple by pass surgery. This horrible turn of events, even in the darkest of hours, even still has a silver lining. The world of medicine is incredible and proves again that everything happens for a reason. It brought our family together and has given us all another chance.
- ...today, we are still working thru his recovery, and I very gratefully still have a few days of holiday time to write and rest and recoperate while I aim to get caught up once and for all.

Wow, does time ever fly!
The good news is that in 7 months there is really only good news to report! Life is grand!
The only bad news (for those of you whome insist on being a "half empty") is still simply not having enough time to write! Well BLOG I should say, since I have been updating my "Book of Positive Thoughts - 2008 is Great", adding to my wish lists and building up my vision boards regularily. Thankfully too, since I am sure there are several exciting things I would maybe forget to talk about otherwise. But I am determined to make time, since life is what you make it afterall ;)
And this "not enough time" issue has somewhat temporarily been resolved, due to my recent lay off. I am planinng to take advantage of the home-computer-time, while I search for the next door to walk thru... I must admit, the past 8 days have been way more busy (with St. Paddy's Day, the Leafs game, etc.) and the searching has been way more time consuming than I anticipated. Lots of good things in store though and the timing couldn't be better. I just really need to focus on which opportunity is really the right opportunity. The more that lay ahead, the more they ALL look fantastic!! Please universe, help me find and choose the right one, and not let the glitter distract me from hearing my heart and seeing my dreams.
For anyone that might be wondering, this lay off truly is the best thing that could have happened, and will only lead to great things. I promise to keep you updated on this new path, and I will seek your help on my "Oprah/Ellen or bust" campaign, as well as all the other great things on the go.
I very much look forward to explaining what the heck has been going on for more than half a year, how much the law of attraction has been working for me, how much life has changed and improved...
But I am going to save that for the next time since I have just spent about 40 minutest trying to remember my password, get logged in etc.. My thoughts are all over the place and the uumph doesn't know where to start.
Stay tuned, I promise I will be back soon - with SOOOOOOOO much to talk about. Great things like finding my inner child and artist, changing career paths, life revelations, and overall good times.
